RFS Deputy Commissioner Rob Rogers later said properties had been reported lost or impacted in the Batlow area south of Tumut, North Nowra and Bundanoon in the Southern Highlands.

NSW fire spread prediction for SaturdayThe New South Wales Rural Fire Service has issued a troubling map showing the predicted fire spread tomorrow including the doubling of blazes already 100,000 hectares in size. If you dont do fuel load reductions during winter nature will do it for you in summer. Surely back burning can take place to stop these fires linking.
