Move to ban property developers from sitting in cabinet targets Sidoti | pallavisinghal_

The opposition will move the bill to amend the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act, which covers the ministerial code of conduct.

Labor leader Jodi McKay, who will introduce the bill to prevent property developers from sitting in cabinet, said it "will remove at a stroke the ability for an individual to make a fortune out of their privileged position". Labor has tried to seize on Mr Sidoti being forced onto the backbench as the party is embroiled in its own corruption hearing.
