All of us men are doing it - two, maybe three nights a week, we sneak out of bed and hand-wash our undies in the wee hours of the morning (no, that’s not meant to be a joke)

Q: Each week I do the laundry. In the weekly heap are at least seven pairs of my undies, sometimes as many as 10. My husband’s pile never has more than three pairs. Please tell me he’s doing surreptitious hand-washing behind my back.Yes. He is. All of us men are doing it. Two, maybe three nights a week, we sneak out of bed and hand-wash our undies in the wee hours of the morning .

First, we make sure our spouses are sleeping blissfully, then we tiptoe to the laundry sink and carefully soap our undies in lukewarm water so they don’t shrink or fade . We let our undies soak for 20 minutes, rinse them in clean water, and delicately squeeze out the excess water .Next, we lay the undies on a dry towel and blow-dry them using our own warm breath, then sneak back to the bedroom and place them on the bedroom floor as though we’d flung them there willy-nilly

And finally, exhausted from our laundering exertions, we climb back into bed, kiss our spouses gently on the cheek, and try and catch a half-hour of sleep before dawn. And why do we do all this? So you don’t have to. And why keep it such a secret? Because we’re a humble gender who never seek praise or glory. All we want is a clean pair of undies, seven days a week. And we won’t apologise for that. Ever.

I rarely wear any- I shake the drips well and keep my arse clean.

WTF! Speak for yourself. Not all men are gross.

So much happening in the world but apparently not as important as this garbage ThisIsNotJournalism

I love reading such things and then every few months or so being told i should be sympathetic for all those alleged journalists losing their jobs

Have you ran out of news!

But before we wash then we sniff them a few times

This is a crap a journalist writes when he’s totally out of things to say.

I remember when the herald printed news.

I've only been in this country for 12 years, but even I remember the days when you used to be a newspaper.

That's what the servants are for, surely?

Is this clickbait, or what?

Once a day fresh clean undies! It the LAW!! SMH great reporting I can see the standards are getting higher! Really now ?

We are meant to change them?

Once a week, whether they need changing or not.

Usually once a day, sometimes twice. Nobody’s perfect.

our secret lives.....

once a king , always a king , once a knight's enough

Wtf, new fresh clean pair every day. When did hygiene fly out the window?

Why would you think Danny Katz’s Good Weekend column was tweet-worthy? Especially this one.

Dirty balls

Why the Government's loan law changes are 'a solution in search of a problem'The Government says its planned removal of responsible lending obligations will make it easier to get a loan, which is true. But it will also make it much easier for Australians, and Australia, to fall into a financial crisis, writes Michael Janda. Don't bother, it's technical stuff.
