The median waiting time for older Australians going into residential aged care has grown nationwide by more than 100 days over the last six years.

New figures from the Productivity Commission revealed South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT are the worst performing

jurisdictions for residential aged care access. The wait time for in-home care has jumped to 137 days – up from just 73 in 2012.
