McIlroy found the water on 18 with an overhit approach shot, but laughed it off as the crowd cheered him home – finishing with a double bogey to card a six-under 65.Australia’s Jason Day carded a one-under 70 to finish six-under overall in a tie for fourth, a promising result ahead of this weekend’s looming major.
