Irrespective of one's politics, how come the ABC is offering an opinion here? They are supposed to report impartially, not push their agenda. In any case, this council is not the 1st to do this, so it can't 'lead the way.' The ABC had only one job, and it f%ked it twice.

With the Government amending the rules so the Citizenship ceremonies can be held on dates other than the 26th..it is an obvious sign that they intend to change the date of Australia Day.
