Two weeks before the school year starts, the Queensland government is expected to reveal how it plans to reduce the risk of COVID in classrooms. But will it include regular rapid antigen tests for kids?

Queensland's back-to-school plan is expected to be revealed today as families brace for more disruption.Schools will be open from today for children of essential workersTerm one was supposed to start today — instead, teachers and parents are due to find out if students will need to wear masks and have regular COVID-19 tests when delayed face-to-face learning returns in two weeks.

Remote learning will begin for year 11 and year 12 students on January 31, the same day many private schools are kicking off home learning for all year groups. When asked on Friday if face-to-face learning for Queensland students could be pushed back again, Ms Palaszczuk replied: "No, there's no further delay."

Looks like they’re less prepared (no regular RATs or air purifiers, unlike NSW and Victoria).

Depends on wether GregHuntMP ordered enough RATs. So, I guess that’s a no.

Health First and Staying Safe. Free Ratts for all Australians.

Just because something exists doesn't mean it's available. I would expect the tests to be supplied to schools and then passed onto students if it becomes a requirement. We can't find them anywhere in the shops and can't queue for days at the testing centers.

Technically kids lessikeky to get Covid than elderly so available rats should go to elderly concession card holders first
