A man Queensland police shot through the scrotum during a shootout in an underground carpark has been found not guilty of attempted murder.
Daniel White-Mayne admitted to pulling a gun out of a bag while he was being arrested on suspicion of stolen goods, but denied he was intending to kill a female officer during the January 2017 incident on the Gold Coast. A Supreme Court jury in Brisbane deliberated for about a day before returning a not guilty verdict on the charge.
