A jury has been unable to reach a verdict in the trial of a Sydney man after previously finding his brother guilty of plotting to blow up an Etihad plane. 9News

A jury has been unable to reach a verdict in the trial of a Sydney man after previously finding his brother guilty of plotting to blow up an Etihad plane with a bomb hidden in a meat grinder.

A NSW Supreme Court jury was discharged today in the trial of 34-year-old Mahmoud Khayat, who pleaded not guilty to conspiring - between mid-January and late-July 2017 - to prepare or plan a terrorist act. Jurors had earlier in the week found his brother, 51-year-old Khaled Khayat, guilty of the same charge which involved the Etihad plot and another plan to carry out a lethal gas attack on people in a confined space.

Jury considers verdicts over killing of Sydney woman Justine Damond RuszczykJurors have been sequestered in the US trial of ex-policeman Mohamed Noor, accused of murdering Australian Justine Damond Ruszczyk in Minneapolis. With a name like that she could be a Russian spy, I say it's fair to shoot Russians first and ask questions later, the occasional Jew is a small price to pay... There is no chance he will be found guilty. Remember Rodney King🤔💭....

Less is More Hmmmm not long ago the media were telling us white males were the terrorists, looks like they were wrong!! Your PC and IdentityPolitics leaning in preference to accurate reporting just enables Islamophobia as, by now, people will just assume the religion involved. But, your funding assured, you're happy enough just to be able to purvey/indulge your particular view at our expense.

The Korean train that could do Melbourne-Sydney in three hoursI'll be travelling aboard a KTX train that's engineered to reach 305km/h, a remarkable velocity that would devour the Sydney to Melbourne distance in less than three hours (we can only dream). TravellerAU TravellerAU True, and it would be excellent solution but the business case is not there, because the population of South Korea is 51.47 million, and the population of Australia is 25 Million. it was 15 Million in 1980. Perhaps in another 40 years.... TravellerAU Can it stop at the Airport and drop me off at Padstow? TravellerAU A lot of countries have these bullet trains and yes they are fast I was on one from Rome to Florence and it showed the speed it was going at 300 klm per hour but most of the time at 280 klm per hr and the price wasn’t expensive it was faster than flying and much cheaper
