Rural Doctors Association of Australia has pushed for more Australian-trained doctors to work in remote regions of the nation.

CEO Peta Rutherford told Sky News that the workforce is evolving, with many looking for a better work-life balance. Where one doctor had been providing service 365 days a year, Ms Rutherford says communities are now needing 'two, three, four or five doctors to provide that service'.
