A group of what appeared to be pro-Palestine protesters gathered outside the venue of the state Labor conference in Victoria on Saturday morning, waving flags and chanting slogans.

People stood outside the venue with placards with messages such as, “make Canberra cut all ties to Israel,” and “stop Israeli state terrorism”.According to The Australian, officers blocked entrances to the building after protesters left.“A group of protesters entered the gates to a venue on Feehan Avenue this morning, then left without incident,” the statement said."The Australian Labor & the Victorian Labor Party has given us no choice but to bring politics to their door......
The state conference has been billed as the “annual supreme policy-making and governing body event of the Victorian Labor party”.“Over two days, Party Delegates come together to determine all Party-related matters, which include shaping policies, amending Rules, selecting officers and committees, reviewing reports, and more,” the website said.
“The weekend also features a vibrant schedule of Fringe Events and Marketplace stalls from a range of groups within Victorian Labor.”
