US Studies Centre’s James Brown says the prime minister is “at pains” to point out the “line he’s walking” on the issue of climate change.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Tuesday delivered a speech in Perth ahead of the G7 summit in the United Kingdom.

“He was at pains to point out the line he’s walking between wanting to make commitments to climate change issues, but needing to be conscious of the difficult politics of that in Australia,” Mr Brown told Sky News. “He’s got to make some movement on this before the Glasgow meeting, the COP26 meeting. “He’s signalled that he’ll do that but he hasn’t yet signalled what that would look like.”

He's not walking a line, he's hiding under the doona!

Why? Is he being pressured by all the climaphobic morons?

The progressive capitalism cracks are already showing with conservative media like The Australian and Skynews. They will swing in behind Morrison when he is forced to pivot on climate change. Woke culture pays really well in advertising revenue.

Easy. Nuclear.

Federal government has a 'problem' selling their Medicare changes | Sky News AustraliaThe Spectator Australia's Terry Barnes says the federal government has made a problem for itself by giving a very short read time into implementing their changes to Medicare - allowing Labor to run another 'Medi-scare campaign'. \n\nThe remarks come after changes were made under the Medicare Benefits Schedule which will affect orthopaedic, general and heart surgery, and come into effect on July 1.\n\n'The problem the government has made for itself is it's announced these changes and put a very short read time into starting it, which is the 1st of July,' he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.\n\n'They haven't really thought about how they're selling it and Greg Hunt who's usually a great micromanager I think has had a bit of other things on his plate like the pandemic and hasn't really thought about how this is being explained and sold.'\n\nMr Barnes said if the health minister and the prime minister get on top of this and possibly even extend the implementation of the changes - they could inform people Medicare is not going and prevent Labor getting away with another 'Medi-scare' campaign.\n\n How can it be a scare campaign if it's true? Liberals will destroy anything that the labor party implement without a thought for ordinary Australians health and well-being APS takes hell lot of time to reply to our job applications and sure they must be expecting for few years to read. Worst recruiting and literally no Technical jobs and all jobs in Canberra/sydney ServicesGovAU APS_Commission PublicServiceAU outstanding is hurting us.

Victoria 'resembles a failed state' that has 'made secrecy an art form' | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Peta Credlin says Victoria increasingly 'resembles a failed state' and its regime has 'made secrecy an art form'.\n\n'If Victoria's latest lockdown mess was a movie, you would end up turning it off and declaring the plot just isn't plausible,' she said.\n\n'Last week you will recall, the so-called experts here were trying to blame it all on NSW, given one of the families involved, took ill while holidaying on the NSW South Coast. NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard was quick to push back.\n\n'But still, officials in Melbourne did everything they could to avoid fessing up with the truth. Until today, when there was no way to get around the reality that lockdown four was driven by yet another stuff-up from a quarantine management system that's as porous as swiss cheese, and a testing regime that's let Victorians down, yet again.'\n\nMs Credlin said it was worth reminding Victorians the state's hotel quarantine system cost taxpayers 'over $1 million a day to run, and still, no one running it seems to be able to learn from their mistakes'.\n\n'Living through lockdown number four, there's hardly a Victorian in the state, that believes that anymore,' she said.\n\n'Fed a constant diet of lies and the blatant refusal of government to make public the so-called expert health advice from Brett Sutton or the damning report into the self-harm and suicide impact of these lockdowns on Victorians young people, this is a regime that's made secrecy an artform.\n\n'If only there were recall powers for the people of this state to demand an early election and send this government packing. Send them packing before lockdowns five, six, seven, and eight. Before they destroy what little economy we have left, and the morale that isn't already shot to pieces.' Why don’t we just stop hotel quarantine in Victoria. CHO locks us immediately down with 2 cases. Surely we can avoid this by no quarantine here until new facility built. As da Sky, you crack me up! 😂😂😂😂😂 Credlin really hates Victoria. What happened to the campaign to get her elected to government there? 😂😂😂😂

'We have a structure now that makes fiscal restraint a pipe dream' | Sky News AustraliaBusiness Columnist Terry McCrann says he fears the reality is Australia has embraced deficits and debts at the federal level, the state level, and at the personal level, and 'we have a structure now that makes fiscal restraint a pipe dream'.\n\n'The basic reality is, as you articulated... we need to embrace fiscal restraint, we need to embrace productivity, we need to embrace open borders and international trading environments,' he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.\n\n A few people *create* the money. Most people don't understand how finance works, but we all work for their dollar. Then they *tax* what we earn, based on *rules* they create. Then we vote to be governed ... ... by them. Are we smart? IF ONLY THERE WAS SOME WAY WE COULD PAY THAT DEBT OFF!? If only there was some dying 20th Century industry we could pull the plug on and save Billions $s 🤔
