Dozens of children - some as young as five - can often be seen walking around the town unsupervised late at night. “To leave a child in a dysfunctional situation because of their race because somehow being maintained in a dysfunctional family situation is more important to them because of their culture ,” she told AM Agenda host Laura Jayes.“It’s completely un-Australian and is why we are faced with this situation.

The government just hopes they will destroy themselves and that would get rid of the problems!

Fair dinkum. She’s gammin.

Albo, your letting down the genuine people in this Country. Your appeasing the minority with woke, leftism green hatred. Make the most of your term as PM. Your sending Australia back to the cave years. Every State will be out of control soon as a result your diverse agenda’s.

I think the Senator should be actioning her own community given the poor history of white governments in Australia. If it’s true she did nothing in her recent past then she too is reprehensible. Perhaps a Voice will help.

I don’t care what race the kids are, white, asian, aboriginals etc, no parents should allow such young kids roam the streets at night. That is parental neglect and they should be charged as such. It’s our responsibility to bring the best out of our kids.

Where is the federal minister for aboriginal affairs?

So Dutton wants to send in Federal forces against the express wishes of the Northern Territory government!!! FFS he really doesn't give a sht about the Constitution but he does like a good invasion!!

She was a councillor for years...why is it now a problem? Where was she when the Morrison Gov't was in power?

Bloody fools...

As councilor in 2015 PRICE had access to the media. Why did she not call on the Morrison LNP government for FEDERAL POLICE & ARMY help when this all first started, given this has been going on for AGES. DUTTON only intervening NOW because it's a LABOR NT & Federal government!

The removal of the cashless debit carb reaping untold benefits.

If the 11 indigenous elected federal MP,s can not get together as a group to help out their mob in Alice Springs what hope has the VOICE got

She said the Alice Springs police are “under the pump” and can’t “get the problem under control”. “It’s horrifying, and it’s sad that my hometown is currently faced with this situation,” Ms Price said. Don't worry Jacinta, Don't worry,he is not in Hawaii like your hero LNP clown Albanese will have to be asked, and begged, he is not a leader! Peter Dutton urges government to intervene crime situation in Alice SpringsOpposition Leader Peter Dutton has called for the Albanese government to urgently intervene in the 'horrific' situation unfolding in Alice Springs. Locals want the Army or Defence Force to be sent to the town to deal with rising crime rates. He had nine and a half years in government to do something. What gives? The government is more interested in tokenism like the voice than actually getting in there and helping the communities directly Does anyone else want the federal police involved in state policing matters? Is Dutton leading his next campaign by over governing?

‘Absolute carnage’ in Alice Springs is ‘heart-breaking’Alice Springs Mayor Matt Paterson says the “absolute carnage” taking place in his town is heart-breaking as the crime situation ramps up. He said all crime statistics are going the “wrong direction”, with house and commercial break-ins rising as well as domestic violence calls. “We got told that more policing down here is not sustainable for Alice Springs, well the level of crime and anti-social behaviour here is not sustainable for Alice Springs to continue either,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray. Hmm. This Alice Springs situation is starting to sound planned, agenda driven, in time for the voice referendum. The mayor has been instructed by Albo to push this narrative. Alice Springs has been a disaster for a long time. Nothing new. The voice won't fix it!!! So the indigenous people want a voice in government. How about having a voice where it is needed. None of you have been there. Put the ban on alcohol sales to blacks and whites. It worked while it was in in place Albo visit Alice Springs.

Alice Springs crime rate soars after alcohol ban liftsAlice Springs is back in the national spotlight as the town of around 26 thousand people sees a marked increase in crime and violence. MPs in the Northern territory are calling for a reintroduction of alcohol bans as more than 200 children, with some as young as five, are roaming the streets late at night. According to The Australian newspaper many of those kids are drinking alcohol, sometimes in the form of hand sanitiser diluted in soft drinks, or consuming deodorant, petrol or glue. It has been just over six months since the Stronger Futures laws lapsed meaning alcohol was suddenly legal for the first time in many Aboriginal town camps in 15 years. AlboMP Dou your Job and get your lazy Minister and yourself to Alice Springs immediately! Removing alcohol bans from indigenous communities was a very silly idea. Much as I hate government restrictions in some cases the people have to be protected from legal drugs. Oxycodone for example is very restricted for reasons of addiction. Why is alcohol any different. Dumbest thing I ever saw and all for no benefit to anyone.
