Potential coronavirus treatments are being 'patronisingly dismissed' | Sky News Australia

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says one would think Victoria's coronavirus death toll would make the state government and its advisors desperate to investigate any potential treatment suggested by doctors “better qualified than themselves”. “You would think wrong,” Mr Bolt said. On Wednesday Victoria marked its second deadliest day since the outset of the coronavirus pandemic with 24 new fatalities overnight.

The state also recorded 149 new infections which aligned with the continuing downward trend. Mr Bolt said three quarters of Victoria's 462 coronavirus deaths have come in aged care. He spoke of possible treatments which scientists have claimed could possibly help treat those affected by the coronavirus, discussing some of the scientific findings into Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin.
