Western Sydney coach Jean-Paul de Marigny has welcomed the possibility of an independent review into the club's A-League department after the Wanderers missed out on the finals for a third successive season

Western Sydney coach Jean-Paul de Marigny has welcomed the possibility of an independent review into the club's A-League department after the Wanderers missed out on the finals for a third successive season.after years of poor performances and sub-par results left the Wanderers as the only club, other than perennial strugglers Central Coast Mariners, not to have finished in the top six in the past three years.

"I think that’s a positive thing," he said. "I think regardless of what your season looks like or ends up, it’s a normal thing you should have a review of the season, regardless of if you are winning the league or not. It’s all about the discussion, about making your club a better club."The club's immediate future appears likely not to involve captain Mitch Duke, who is on the cusp of joining Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Taawoun.
