Police have revealed shocking details after a six-year-old girl and a woman believed to be her mother were killed in a Melbourne stabbing attack.
When they arrived, they found a 39-year-old woman, 40-year-old man and six-year-old girl all with critical injuries. Detective Inspector Dean Thomas from the Homicide Squad held a press conference later on Friday and revealed there was a second child in the house at the time of the stabbing.Emergency services were called to Kellaway Crescent at about 7.50pm on Thursday to reports of a stabbing.“She was not physically injured and is in the care of the Department of Health and Human Services and is speaking to police.
