NSW Police call for help after two men allegedly try to hit officer with vehicle in Sydney ’s inner west
NSW Police are on the lookout for two men who allegedly tried to hit an officer with a now burnt-out car in Sydney's inner west. The alleged attempt to hit the officer happened after police were called to a unit block in Sydney’s St Peters following reports of a break and enter at about 1:15am on Sunday morning.

The officer then allegedly drew their firearm and fired a single shot at the vehicle before it fled the scene. Then at about 2am that night, emergency services responded to an underground car park in Pyrmont amid reports of a car fire.“Police have established a crime scene and the vehicle is currently undergoing forensic examination,” NSW Police said in a statement.
