Police ethical standards officer convicted of sexual assault

A former high-ranking Victoria Police officer, whose job it was to maintain ethical standards within the force, has been convicted of rubbing his genitals on a man in a Melbourne bar who happened to work in police accountability.He was sentenced to an 18-month community corrections order and 300 hours of community service

Michael Simpson, 55, was placed on an 18-month community corrections order after pleading guilty in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court to sexually assaulting the victim in March last year. In sentencing him, Magistrate Donna Bakos said the victim had felt "deep resentment" for Victoria Police.

All police in Australia should be abolished and replaced with modern and upto date entities that are conduicive to a midern democratic society. Vicpol has always been corrupt, putrid and rotten from top down.

It's worth repeating, people thought we would have had a different outcome in hotel quarantine in Victoria if the police or army were in charge. Neither force has a clean reputation and I'm sure would have been looking to have some fun with the hotel guests.
