Prime Minister Scott Morrison has revealed the next country set for a travel bubble with Australia — but it may be “some time” before it becomes a reality.

Mr Morrison discussed “infrastructure” in order to enable Australia to “open up … when we’re both in a position to do so” and “when the public health situation in both countries permits”.

Singapore has seen highs and lows of Covid rates since the outbreak of the pandemic and will begin slowly easing a month-long partial lockdown from next week after a recent outbreak. If the situation remains under control, more restrictions will be lifted from June 21, including a resumption of restaurant dine-ins, while people will be allowed to work out at gyms without masks.

Jacinda Ardern says Melbourne family caught breaching travel bubble rules are facing 'consequences'Three Melbourne residents fly to New Zealand despite the coronavirus outbreak in Victoria, reportedly to attend a funeral, and end up forced to spend two weeks in a managed isolation facility. Yes current NZ PM seems to be a genuinely friendly, fair, & firm PM. There should be consequences, I support this. Australia will discuss travel bubble with Singapore as leaders meet ahead of G7 summitSetting the conditions for a travel bubble will be on the agenda for prime ministerial talks between Scott Morrison and Lee Hsien Loong in Singapore ahead of the G7 summit. When a travel bubble operates through international airports, it's not a bubble. The international airports are the same airports that all potentially infected returning travellers use on their way to quarantine. Will the Anglo-Australian get on with the Chinese-Singaporean given his negativity over China more than the US still persecuting African-Americans in many ways? Too soon! auspol
