Prime Minister unveils $2 billion Climate Solutions Fund | Sky News AustraliaPrime Minister Scott Morrison has resurrected Tony Abbott’s Direct Action fund as the centrepiece of his climate change policy, as his government seeks to calm voter concerns about climate change.\n\nRe-branded as the Climate Solutions Fund, the $2 billion, 10-year boost is aimed at ensuring Australia sticks to its Paris commitment to reduce emissions by 26 to 28 per cent by 2030. \n\nThe money will fund remote Indigenous communities, farmers and small businesses for projects such as revegetating land and replacing inefficient energy appliances. \n\nWith the May election just months away, Mr Morrison is hoping his climate compromise can win back voters in progressive blue-ribbon seats. \n\nLabor has promised to abolish the fund if elected, with Shadow Climate Change Minister Mark Butler saying Mr Morrison is throwing billions at a failed carbon blueprint that’s seen emissions ‘go up and up’. \n\nImage: News Corp Australia \n\n\n\n\n\n ScottMorrisonMP PerrettReport I’m sick of this climate change rubbish. Morrison is no better than the others. Spineless politicians. ScottMorrisonMP PerrettReport Don't be so sure about the electorate. They voted for Kevin Rudd, didn't they. He’s ridiculous and he just lies so easily so can’t trust him at all!

'Thoughtful, considerate': The people who wrote character references for George Pell revealedTen people, including a former prime minister, spoke highly of Cardinal George Pell, describing him as 'thoughtful', 'considerate' and 'sensitive' Kind words from a former PM who was probably first in line to Kiss the Cardinals Ring 💍👄 Let them send their grandchildren over to visit Pell and see if they trust him so much then. Well I’m not fond of Pell or the church hierarchy, but an elderly, white, male, christian, was never going to get a fair trial when the progressive Left media mob demanded vengence. Judge should have followed precedent & dismissed due to lack of evidence.
