Scott Morrison was hoping to win over a clutch of undecided voters in the crucial swing seat of Bass on Tuesday night.Scott Morrison in transports of joy over a local footy player's mullet.

Mr Morrison zeroed in on the Parrots stalwart and his seven-year locks with a compliment - and an implicit challenge to Australia's other mullet-wearers. "That has the PM's endorsement as the best mullet I have seen," Mr Morrison told the lanky footy player.
