Prime Minister Scott Morrison has denied his plan to help first home buyers will push house prices up.

While campaigning in Sydney, The Coalition says the first home buyers’ scheme, which would allow people to buy a home with just a five per cent deposit, is not a subsidy because the government will guarantee the extra amount.

Spruiking his own housing policy in the bellwether seat of Lindsay on Monday, Mr Morrison slammed the Opposition’s housing promises. Campaigning alongside Liberal candidate Melissa McIntosh, Mr Morrison said Labor’s housing tax would be detrimental to the market because it would ‘force the value of your home down’. billshortenmp And Labor jumped on board - me too!

billshortenmp Why are you matching it if you’re critical of it and think it’s a desperate attempt?

billshortenmp Love the nodding donkeys who stand behind this clown and his glib statements. They just stand there say nothing and blindly nod their heads like stuffed toys.

billshortenmp This poor excuse for a would be pm has a smart answer for anyone😬

billshortenmp He always has someone on hand because he doesn't know the details. By the way, his Shadow Cabinet do alright with their property investments.

billshortenmp Libs promise affordable housing BUT Labor promises=HIGHER tax on VotersFlashback:LABOR/Keating'The recession we had to have' Shorten=NewDeathTax-MoreImmigration-HigherTaxes-MORE Tax $ UN 4 climate scamLabor can't keep promises with their new Tax slugs!

What’s Shorten bigger picture? To destroy all property investment ? Give us a climate policy that he can’t even explain? Shorten talks in riddles he must think all voters are gullible and will willingly consume his spin auspol ausvotes abc 7news 9news

billshortenmp If housing prices go little bit down, and with government help more people will be afford to bay, so they won’t have to rent and pay somebody’s else investment, instead they will be able to achieve every single Australian dream, they own home

billshortenmp Shorten: I haven't seen the policy or know what it costs but I support the policy. Sounds familiar.....

billshortenmp Promise housing yet plans even HIGHER taxes?More LIES by Labor?Flashback: LABOR/Keating'The recession we had to have' Shorten=New Death Tax-More Immigration-Higher Taxes-MORE Tax $ to UN 4 climate scam? How can Shorten truly promise affordable housing?

billshortenmp

billshortenmp 2/Careful criticism of Labor’s proposed costly policies is also important to share with people but staying focused on ‘what we’re offering you’ is 1 for the undecided voters. Don’t allow Bill & Labor to become the victim party, the LNP has a strong positive policy story to tell.

billshortenmp Typical labor out comes the grubby talk all because they didn't think of it first

billshortenmp Coming across as the ‘reasonable party’ even positively acknowledging LNP ideas is very smart politics. To win the ‘undecided’, the LNP needs to stay on policy point with their strong economic record & future strategic plans for taking this further & how this benefits all Aussies

billshortenmp 'Bum Steering Bill' billshortenmp bsb

billshortenmp Reduced investment in property due to abolishing negative gearing on existing properties & halving of CGT discount (insane!) = higher rent. I would have thought rent formed part of housing affordability argument?

billshortenmp Yeah, like rents more affordable (NOT) for low income earners, newstart and Pensioners -GOOD ONE billshortenmp

billshortenmp So can you please explain how your policies will help the housing affordability issue - especially when you said house prices won't go down because of them? If house prices don't go down, how does it make it more affordable?

billshortenmp Why are they at a school they don't vote

billshortenmp Sold out

billshortenmp So over the Liber party and Scott Morrison’s scare campaigns about negative gearing and housing. I’ll be voting Labor 😊

billshortenmp Perhaps a labor-led recession will help

billshortenmp Don't lie shorten.
