The latest report shows wholesale unleaded prices climbed 4.6 cents last week, and it's only predicted to climb as school holidays approach in most states. 9News

A rise in wholesale petrol prices means drivers could be feeling the pinch at the bowser as school holidays begin.

With school holidays having already started in Melbourne - and the AFL Grand Final approaching - CommSec analysts suggested Melburnians leave the car at home, with prices averaging $1.64 a litre today. The latest report from the Australian Institute of Petroleum shows wholesale unleaded prices climbed 4.6 cents last week.NRMA's Peter Khoury said this meant retail prices could go up as soon as Friday.

Mr Khoury said even before the attacks on two Saudi Arabian oil processing plants earlier this month, petrol prices were set to rise. He blamed that on the escalating trade war between the US and China, a weak Australian dollar and oil-producing nations cutting production to up prices.

How much is a prayer worth? It changes, depending on who's buyingThoughts and prayers don't usually come with a price tag attached, but a study finds they have a different value for different people. Prayers are worth zero. For religious people offering practical help at the time of disaster prayer sustains us enabling us to continue to work at a pace way beyond normal physical abilities. I do think the whole ‘thought & prayers’ has become a meaningless platitude like ‘have a nice day’ The same as bitcoin. Both are a ruse.

In perimenopause, my body began to feel like an unfamiliar placeDuring her 40s, or even late 30s, a woman's brain begins to rewire itself. For two to 12 years prior to her final menstrual period, reproductive hormones fluctuate, sometimes dramatically, before reaching a new stable level at the onset of menopause It's a good, positive article, and we need to talk about the peri-menopause more, but as a peri-menopausal woman I still sadly want to stab everyone in the eyes What a waste of life read....the header alone pulls it up. Re-Wired.
