20/10/2020Resources Minister Keith Pitt says while Annastacia Palaszczuk's hard stance on borders was very popular in Queensland, it was leading to the "worst unemployment rate in the country" and was affecting whether businesses could get back to work.

Mr Pitt also noted lockdowns in Victoria were affecting business supply chains around the country stating some businesses had a terrible quarter despite peak demand because some manufacturers operated out of Melbourne. "No supply means no sales, means no jobs," he said.

They are overworked and completely over it. My postie has joined a class action against the Daniel Andrews Government. How about they, oh I dunno, HIRE SOME MORE PEOPLE, STAT? Online business is here to stay, we need an efficient postal service that responds to this situation. Not starve it of funds and people then privatise it, a la IPA wishes.

The decision 20m Aussies hateOf all the rules that Australia’s states and territories have introduced since the COVID-19 pandemic struck seven months ago, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk’s hard border closure has been one of the most contentious. If Scomo continues to avoid making decisions I’ll follow what the premiers say. Anything to avoid the killing fields of the USA Not sure how accurate the claim of 'hated by 20m Aussies' is. WA, NT, SA and Tasmania couldn't give a stuff about it, and I'm sure most QLD residents are in agreeance. natalieisbrown I like how WA has strict border controls but no one bats an eyelid at them, must just be easier to go after a female premier than a male one I guess 😏
