‘A high bar to get over’: Australians need to see ‘detail’ of Indigenous VoiceManager of Opposition Business Paul Fletcher says Australians need to be given “the clear detail” of the proposed Indigenous Voice to Parliament before it goes to a referendum. “The history of referendums in Australia is very clear, you do need to give people the clear detail,” he said. “And it’s a high bar to get over. “To get that majority, in the majority of jurisdictions it’s a high bar to get over so it’s really not a political talking point. “If the government is serious about getting this through, they will need to share the details with the Australian people.” FK I’m sick of this S H I T. Typical politicians. The Australian voters are not like sheep, they need to know the detail before voting. The purpose of this change is to give Aborigines respect, the Aus govt should respect the Aus voters. How disgusting this government and ABC are promoting race flag against the will of most people who support the Australian national Flag!!! Australians do not want a voice in parliament or our constitution changed. LeaveAustraliaFlagAlone
