'Origin could go international': NRL considering making overseas move

If the bold plan comes to fruition, it won’t be the first time the interstate series has been staged overseas. An exhibition game was staged at Long Beach, California in 1987, where a crowd of 12,349 witnessed NSW beat Queensland 30-18 at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
