Just weeks after Australians united to cheer on Peter Bol in the Olympics a devastating situation has showed up a double standard.

At the Olympics our refugees made us proud, now the Australian Government must make us proud, do the best it can, and help those trapped in Afghanistan.to the crisis unfolding in Afghanistan is at total odds with what I felt this country was about, just a couple of weeks ago, as we sat around our television sets watching one of our South Sudanese-born heroes, run for us all.

Well said, Grim Reaper

More than happy for the Afghans to follow the pathway of the Bol family. When they have been properly assessed for claim as refugees and received their security clearances. Remember the Bols spent 4 years in Egypt whilst it was done properly.

Oh dear, does the bleating never end or is it just entitled journalism finding some scrap to try to put together a piece that will wrap fish and chips tomorrow 😎
