Sky News host Caleb Bond says his diet has “never looked healthier” as a Harvard study has shown olive oil is linked to a lower risk of heart disease.

The study by researchers at Harvard looked at the health and diet of more than 60,000 women and 31,000 men in the US from 1990 to 2018.

Those who said they consumed more than half a tablespoon of olive oil daily had 19 per cent lower risk of all causes of death, as well as a lower risk of cardiovascular disease compared to those who rarely or never had olive oil. “Add to that the fact that studies are now showing that butter is in fact linked to lower obesity and better heart health and I tell you what, my diet has never looked healthier,” Mr Bond said.
