NSW Health allowed cruise ship passengers to disembark despite test results pending | NickDRalston sallyrawsthorne cokeefe9

The 15 tests revealed that three passengers and one crew member had the virus but, by then, 2647 passengers had left the ship, returning to their homes across Sydney, interstate and overseas. A total of 622 have now tested positive for COVID-19, including 342 in NSW.

"NSW Health had prepared plans in the event of COVID-19 being identified on a cruise ship," a spokeswoman said.Loading The Ruby Princess remains off Port Botany and is expected to remain in NSW waters for some time with health concerns among its 1100 crew members and the decision to allow passengers off the ship is now the subject of a NSW Police investigation.

NickDRalston sallyrawsthorne cokeefe9 WOW. What authority does NSW Health have to detain passengers on board an international cruise ship & would this authority supersede ABF / NSW State or Federal authorities? Asking for a friend. Any chance you could publish the emails from the Dr on board or is this anecdotal? 🔬

NickDRalston sallyrawsthorne cokeefe9 I tried to comment on this article on your website - I asked POLITELY if the rumours that family members of Liberal MP were on board were investigated. My comment wasn't published.

NickDRalston sallyrawsthorne cokeefe9 can you ask the authorities to share what is currently happening with the Radiance of the Seas in the harbour - numerous tenders went out to the ship an hour ago and have now returned. Not saying its wrong but transparency would be good.

sallyrawsthorne NickDRalston cokeefe9 So cruise ships leaving Australian waters can dock disembark in several sights in a foreign country RETURN and only require NSW authority to dismbark back in Syd? Without ABF in the loop, just after the PM announced strick measures in such movements.
