The massive and dangerous reticulated python easily won the Australian Reptile Park’s biggest snake competition, measuring a massive 5.53m in length and weighing 61kg.
Visitors to the park were stunned when handlers brought its three biggest scaly denizens out for a weigh-in to celebrate World Snake Day.Monster, who has a reputation for snarkiness after biting a keeper, took the honours when multiple park staff hoisted her into their arms and stretched her out for measuring.
An inaptly-named Burmese python called Fluffy came in second at 4.49m and 49kg, while an anaconda named Nicki Minaj came third, at a still scary-big 3.9m and 35kg.The Central Coast park warned in a release that all three animals were "extremely dangerous" to handle - especially Monster.
