Police say a man wanted over a murder in a hotel car park west of Brisbane is being protected by a network of associates.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Kye Enright, 21, who is believed to be frequenting the Gold Coast and northern NSW areas. Oakey man Paul Rock died in the rear car park of the Porters Plainland Hotel in Laidley on July 1 after an alleged robbery involving Mr Enright and a third man.“We are aware that Enright is being assisted by male and female associates. They utilise motels, hotels, AirBnB and hire car companies and this stretches from northern NSW through to the Sunshine Coast,” Detective Inspector Damien Hansen said.

Employees of such businesses should familiarise themselves with Mr Enright’s photo and contact Crime Stoppers if he is sighted. Police earlier charged a 26-year-old Park Ridge man with murder, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of supplying a dangerous drug and armed robbery.Related Articles
