A diplomatic rift is brewing after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said any Australians or New Zealanders who came to Turkey with anti-Muslim sentiments would be sent back in a coffin 'like your grandfathers were' during the WWI Gallipoli campaign. Deputy Prime Minister and foreign minister Winston Peters is due in Turkey to attend a meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation in Istanbul.

Australian Islamic State recruiter Neil Prakash sentenced to jail in TurkeyAustralian Islamic State recruiter Neil Prakash has been sentenced to jail in Turkey. ISIS conducted mass murder, mass rape, slavery and ethnic cleansing. Prakash was part of that. The Turkish justice system gave him 7 years. What is the minimum time he will serve ? This sentence is a joke ! Excellent and given he is not an Australian Citizen (as decided appropriately, by the relevant authorities and agencies, by those QUALIFIED to make such decisions) . I very much look forward to his serving his sentence and thus being returned to his ISIS friends, upon his release 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞: 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 - Christchurch New Zealand Mass Shooting at Mosque Christchurch ChristchurchMosqueAttack ChristchurchAttack jacindaardern jacindaardern
