Two Christchurch retirement villages were put in partial lockdown on Tuesday after a number of residents began displaying signs of respiratory illness.

“As there is currently no community transmission of COVID-19, it is highly unlikely that this outbreak is due to anything other than normal seasonal respiratory illness.” They were accepting emergency-only visits and those visiting were asked to wear masks and use hand sanitiser, the nurse said.

Victoria records second consecutive deadliest day with 19 new deaths | Sky News AustraliaVictoria has recorded its second consecutive deadliest day since the beginning of the pandemic, with 19 new deaths and 331 new cases in the past 24 hours. \n\nMr Andews said 14 of the 19 new fatalities were linked to the state’s troubled aged care sector. \n\nHe also revealed another 100 “mystery cases”, totaling 2903 cases with an unknown source in the state. \n\nThe Premier also said the state’s hardship payment – which has already been made to more than 24,000 eligible businesses - would double from $5,000 to $10,000. \n Thankfully we have locked off the border in Queensland. Hopefully we can keep this out of Queensland and avoid the death and economic damage. Fear mongering , fake , fony and false clickbait BS. Let the left believe what they want. It doesnt change the fact that these numbers are paid for in aged care and hospitals. 25k for Covid on a death certificate. 9k for families who agree. Hope MSM goes down soon! a few weeks back Allan Jones went on air and claimed like an idiot that the COVID was a hoax ...lol

Tell us about those and repeat it every hour. Enough hysteria let’s deal in pragmatic facts and science.
