A “petrified” mum has revealed the chilling text message she received from her son when he was aboard the fatal Singapore Airlines flight rocked by severe turbulence en route to Southeast Asia.

Josh franticly wrote to his mum about 9.10am:"I don't want to scare you, but I'm on a crazy flight. The plane is making an emergency landing... I love you all.” She said Josh sustained minor injuries during the ordeal, although she expressed concern her son’s near-death experience could have a lasting impact on his wellbeing.
