The Prime Minister and the US President will join Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt to open his new box factory in Ohio on Sunday local time.

The $270 million facility is Mr Pratt's biggest investment in America and a fulfillment of a promise he made to President Trump two years ago.

Australia's richest man announced plans to spend $2 billion in the Midwest in the coming decade, creating an estimated 5,000 jobs. The tour will double as a campaign event for Mr Trump, who considers the plant a strong example of direct foreign investment. Mr Pratt has built several paper mills in the key Midwest belt that helped swing the US President's election. Image: AP
