United States President Donald Trump has hinted he could visit Australia as early as December during an exclusive interview with Sky News host Paul Murray.

Mr Trump indicated a trip to Melbourne for the Presidents Cup, set to be held on December 9-15, could be on the cards. He said he would be visiting Australia "pretty soon". His remarks coincide with a visit to the US by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, where the two leaders will spend the next week together in Ohio and New York. Image: AP
