Myanmar anti-coup protestor urges Morrison government to do more | Sky News AustraliaProtest leader from the Myanmar Students’ Association Steven Han says he’s grateful Australia has suspended its military aid program with Myanmar but believes it should do more.\n\n“I also believe Australia can do more on this matter. With Australia’s record of advocating for human rights, they should be taking a leading role in taking consideration of what’s happening in Myanmar and taking accounts on those who are cracking down and bringing them to justice”, Mr Han said.\n\n“In the area I grew up in, police were seizing the whole suburbs, protestors couldn’t get out and they were banging door by door to arrest protestors the whole night. \n\n“Everyone is living in fear day and night.”\n\nMore than 50 people have been killed since the unrest began last month when the military forcefully took over the democratically elected government.\n\n This is the UN's job, where is the action from the UN. 🤷‍♂️ All they seem to be doing is calling for action. At least Australia has actually done something. 👍
