Labor frontbencher fitzhunter says “no one” in Australia believes Prime Minister ScottMorrisonMP “acted quickly enough” in response to the bushfire crisis.

Labor frontbencher Joel Fitzgibbon says “no one” in Australia believes Prime Minister Scott Morrison “acted quickly enough” in response to the bushfire crisis. Mr Morrison will look to change legal powers allowing prime ministers to have the ability to declare natural disasters and call on the Defense Force rather than waiting for the states to ask for assistance. “Now he is trying to blame a process that is not broken,” Mr Fitzgibbon told Sky News.

“What’s implicit in what the prime minister is saying is he knows better than state leaders, well that’s a big call and again I think that’s just another distraction. “The events over the summer show the prime minister acted too late himself… he was very slow to act. “He downplayed the fires when people were appealing for more assistance for volunteer firefighters, he told the country they are happy and have the resources they need.

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP I'll leave this right here shall I?

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP He couldn't get out of the chair...

nomai49712260 fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Step down already…

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP He didn’t act quick enough. And when he did act it was insufficient. And do we even have to mention the ad?

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Um I think that would nobody in the world believe?

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Sadly that’s a fair article.

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP I doubt there has been more politics played during a natural disaster in Australia than Labor have played during this bushfire disaster. They have stooped so low in a bid to gain political points. They have shown what a despicable group is sitting on the Opposition benches.

GCobber99 fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP He’s dead right.

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Gillard has the same criticism during the 2011 floods about being late with the army. People also criticized her that she didnt have enough empathy to the people. People heckled her when she visited disaster zones. People called her to be sacked. Should we follow the precedence?

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP We all know labor pushed for things ahead of time and right in the start to make MORRISON look like he couldn’t lead. Like paying volunteee fire fighters right in the midst of people dying and animals dying. Shame on you fitzhunter albo AustralianLabor. Selfish pigs.

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP No one believes the States and local councils acted at all

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP When will people actually be told the truth by all media outlets that it was not the Fereral Govt or PM’s responsibility to act on bushfires - it was the State Premiers who went silent when accountable and still have not acted as they should!!!

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP AustralianLabor doesnt speak for me.

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP That stop at no one believes ScottMorrisonMP

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Let’s look back th last 7 yrs Th LNP continue 2 blame Labor 4 everything that goes wrong & yet it’s th LNP that have been in Gov 4 th last 7 yrs ScottMorrisonMP has nothing but slogans No Policies just BS meaningless words

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP I do.

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Morrison did quite a good job after a slow start, solid leadership, well done.

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP I do.

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP The only thing labor good at is taking crap

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP And of course, the Labor front bencher speaks for everyone!

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP No one? There are several levels of authority between a bushfire & the Prime Minister. He has done what he can, the federal response has been huge & effective. To single out the PM for criticism is small minded, but natural for a permanent party of opposition.

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Fires, sportsrorts, coronavirus. Slow on everything. SlowMo

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Scott Morrison is a clueless toddler playing at prime minister.

Nigel_Purchase fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Well, he didn’t actually care, did he? Not until it became a political issue for him ...

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Can anyone advise which fire Mr fitzhunter helped at

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP The State Government's ignored back burning/hazard reduction for years! Now they are keeping eerily quiet!! Time to turn up the heat on the Premiers!

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Some say it is a states issue, yes that may be true but fire chiefs from the states wanted to meet with the federal government to have a more co-ordinated response. Morrison couldn't be bothered. He could have at least had a meeting, instead he treated them with contempt

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP IstandbyScomo

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Just like no one believes bet each way AlboMP post election support for coal mining jobs in the Hunter and QLD. Just like on strong border protection, Labor will tell inner city luvvies one thing and regional voters another auspol

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP I disagree. States were responsible for this not the PM. As regards the Federal, he acting very swiftly. As regards the State Goverments, they acted slowly!

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP I do!

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP And he is NOT acting quickly enough with the Virus outbreak

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP You know I swear we had State Governments in this fair nation of ours whose responsibility it actually is. I like fitzhunter, so I’ll be kind & say that he probably knows this & is just trying to pull a fast one. As fast as he can now say “ I like coal” in his marginal seat!

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP easy, he was in the middle of ordering another strawberry margarita in Hawaii.

fitzhunter ScottMorrisonMP Thankfully Labor wasn’t in charge or there would have been an even bigger mess as history has shown us.

STOP incoming flights from China OR at least quarantine those passengers coming in from China for X amount of time. The cost of banning the flights for a while will seem minimal compared to the carnage of a complete outbreak one infected passenger could potentially cause
