At least 31 people have died after their dinghy sank while trying to cross the English Channel in what authorities have described as the"biggest tragedy that we have seen".
There were 34 people onboard the inflatable dinghy, which capsized off the northern point of Calais, attempting to make a desperate bid to reach the UK.
