The $769 million plan has been dubbed the largest expansion of public preschools in the state's history and will cater to 2000 three- and four-year-olds.
The remaining 49 will be scattered across regional and rural communities, including the South Coast, the Hunter, Illawarra, Mid North Coast, New England, Southern NSW, Northern Rivers, Far West, Riverina, South-West Slopes and Central West regions. All 100 will be delivered by 2027, with the government slashing red tape to ensure each school is built within eight months or sooner.
