As the spread of coronavirus accelerates in London, PM Boris Johnson orders citizens to minimise their contact with each other, while the elderly are told they face three months in isolation.

Britons have been urged to avoid all non-essential social contact with each other to fight coronavirus, in what Prime Minister Boris Johnson has described as the most far-reaching measures ever seen in peacetime.The UK death toll from COVID-19 has reached 53, with more than 1,500 infectionsThe UK death toll from the COVID-19 pandemic has hit 53, with more than 1,500 cases.
