A young man with autism is suffering severe mental stress after being told to “get off the f****** train”, then kicked and punched inMarcus, 31, boarded the train at Ringwood about 7.30am on September 23, planning to take photos of new level crossing removals - which is one of his passions.

As it was a public holiday, the train carriage was quiet with just one other man sitting behind Marcus.“Between Ringwood to Ringwood East, this person yelled out to Marcus: ‘Get off the f****** train’,” Marcus’ mother Elizabeth said on Wednesday. Marcus, unable to find help there, boarded another train to Ringwood and sought help from the staff.“They rang Ringwood police and one of the staff walked him to the police station and paramedics checked him out.

On Wednesday, police released photos of a man they are looking for over the assault.
