Officers have released CCTV images from two robberies at businesses in Ipswich to help find him.

Police are appealing for public help to help identify a man they are seeking over robberies in the south-east Queensland city of Ipswich.

Officers want to speak with him over two robberies from businesses in the suburb of Springfield early this year and late last year. At 11.50pm, on December 31, an unknown man entered a business on Woodcrest Way and threatened a staff member with a knife while demanding money.Police have released CCTV images of a man they are seeking over two robberies in Ipswich. The man then left towards Woodcrest Way and Commercial Drive.The man threatened staff with a large wrench and demanded money before assaulting one of the attendants.

He is described as tanned in appearance, 1.8 metres tall with a solid build, short black hair and a patchy black moustache. He was wearing a grey or navy blue "Blues" football jumper with a NSW Blues logo on the front, black long pants, and black sports shoes.
