A man who fell to his death at a popular waterfall in Far North Queensland has been identified as marine biologist and volunteer teacher Yaar Stav.

A man who fell to his death at a popular tourist spot in Far North Queensland had plans to live in Australia before tragedy struck.

It’s understood the young Israeli man, who had been living in Cairns for almost two years, planned to become an Australian citizen before tragedy struck.The young man quickly made friends during his time in Far North Queensland with his Instagram page inundated with messages of condolences. Neta Rosenkrontz described his friend as “very caring” and having always brought out happiness to those around him.
