A 72-year-old man is due to face court this morning charged with the murder of his wife south of Brisbane.
Queensland police said a 67-year-old woman was found shot on her rural property in Alexander Court, Chambers Flat just before 9:00pm yesterday.Efforts to revive the woman failed and she died at the scene.He spent the night in custody and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning charged with murder.
