Detectives have charged a 24-year-old man with the murder of a mother who has been described by neighbours as"beautiful".
The woman, also 24, was found at a home on Waratah Drive in Crestmead, south of Brisbane, about 6:30am yesterday. Paramedics notified police after discovering the woman had significant facial injuries, but police said it was not clear how she died. Forensic investigators spent the day combing through the home, and detectives have spoken to neighbours.
Suzanne Woodgate lived next door, and said the woman had only lived at the home for four months and had two young children.
