Man charged with murder over man's death in northern Brisbane

A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder after the discovery of a man's body in the northern Brisbane suburb of Bracken Ridge on Sunday afternoon.Police say the man charged with murder "lived in close proximity" to the man who was killedThey will allege a metal object was used to cause "blunt force trauma"

Detectives from Carseldine arrested a Bracken Ridge man this morning and have since charged him with one count of murder.Police will allege the two men were known to each other. Detective Senior Sergeant Ziebarth said police had set up two crime scenes, one at the victim's property where a "large" metal object was found, and the other at the alleged offender's address nearby.

"There's an ongoing forensic investigation at two scenes at this point in time, so that will shed further light in further days.
