A major investigation has been launched into allegations Chinese government agents have infiltrated the political office of NSW Labor MP Shaoquett Moselmane.

A major investigation has been launched into allegations Chinese government agents have infiltrated the political office of a NSW Labor MP. The Australian Federal Police raided the Sydney home of NSW Labor MP Shaoquett Moselmane, inlcuding a number of his vehicles, and is now attempting to raid his parliamentary office. The AFP is conducting the raids on behalf of counter-espionage agency ASIO, which confirmed the investigation to Sky News Australia today.

While this activity occurs it would not be appropriate to comment any further,” an ASIO spokesperson said. Attorney-General Christian Porter reportedly authorised ASIO to gather evidence from anyone suspected of seeking to influence the MP or his staff on behalf of the Chinese government. While no charges have yet been laid, NSW Labor has suspended the MP's membership. NSW Labor leader Jodi McKay said the allegations were "dreadfully concerning". "It's terrible.

A series of speeches by US senior officials is on the way commencing with Robert O'Brien’s in Arizona with the aim of waking up American people. Notably well said “The Chinese Communist Party does not equal China or her people.” These speeches signify that real actions arecoming

Traitor, he sold out our democracy and sovereignty

And the investigation into Dan Andrews? Or do we already know that China controls him?

We need the death penalty for these politicians that sell out Australia to other countries for thier own benefit it’s treason and they should be treated accordingly

How is the investigation into Gladys Liu humming along, could your news service advise us please

Good

Time to deregister the Federal and States ALP...

The federal attorney general refused to discuss alleged Chinese government infiltration into the Morrison Liberal National government. Auspol

Deport

Please look into DanielAndrewsMP, actually all labour politicians would be good

What about an investigation in Dan Andrews. It’s so friggin obvious his in China’s pocket

Were they invited or infiltrated ?

They have probably infiltrated Indian parties like CPI, CPM, INC unfortunately Indian government doesn’t have the poltical bandwith to investigate. If Aussies catch these CCP stooges it will be a great precedent for the world: we Indians will be inspired to do investigate too.

Foot soldiers all just foot soldier. investigations into MrKRudd HonJulieBishop JuliaGillard billshortenmp would be a real start.

investigate all of them

At what stage was he not CCP's NSW stooge mininster. The Rockdale Mayor corruption, his comments just last year re President Xi Jinping, this years comments about China's handling of the pandemic. & this from 2 years ago, really....

The first muslim member of the NSW parliament apparently (2009)...Labor sure knows how to pick them...child abusers, Chinese spies, branch stackers, misogynists...

It is only the trickling start. Labor is absolutely infested and many labor MP’s often actively seeks out Chinese influence in making supporting their reelection and cash for swaying decisions.

Ohh what a surprise. Must be an upcoming election somewhere...

so it is alleged . its not like you lot to overreach is it

WA to follow Qld in passing legislation to 'financially rig' the next election | Sky News AustraliaThe Labor government in Western Australia is attempting to follow in the footsteps of Queensland Labor and pass legislation to “financially rig” the next election, according to Sky News host Paul Murray.\n\nIn Queensland, the ALP have passed legislation giving all unions a combined $1.7 million spending budget per seat while limiting the spending power of parties, candidates, and other groups with no union connections, to $149,000.\n\nUnder the proposed new Western Australia election rules an independent or party candidate could not spend over $125,000 and each union or third party would have a two million state-wide spending limit.\n\nMr Murray said there were at least 25 active unions in Western Australia which meant a combined union spending across the state would amount to $56 million while political party spending of the amounted to approximately $8.1 million.\n\nHe said the problem was under the new legislation unions are treated as completely independent despite the fact they are major supporters of the ALP.\n\nThe Liberals, Nationals, One Nation, the Greens, Palmer United, Shooters and Fishers and any other registered party in Western Australia would be disadvantaged if this legislation were to be passed. \n\nImage: News Corp Australia Let’s see if they do it in the same sneaky way the Qld govt did! Albanese attempts to placate Labor's Right ahead of Eden-Monaro by-election | Sky News AustraliaAnthony Albanese’s pledge to work with the government is designed to satisfy members of Labor’s Right who are calling for the opposition to be more vocal about supporting jobs in the coal industry.\n \nSky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell said Mr Albanese’s decision not to commit to a 2030 emission reduction target is an attempt to neutralise the issue ahead of the Eden-Monaro by-election.\n \n'This Anthony Albanese offer to work with the government on climate change and energy policy: It is all about satisfying the members of the Otis group led by (Labor frontbencher) Joel Fitzgibbon,” Mr Clennell said.\n \n“This perhaps is a sign of real concerns by Anthony Albanese about his leadership ahead of the Eden Monaro by-election. \n \n“It might also show you that the polling in Eden Monaro is not all one way in terms of climate change.”\n \n“In October last year, Joel Fitzgibbon gave a speech in which he called on Labor to agree to the government’s 2030 climate change target in a bid to neutralise the issue.”\n \nEarlier this year it emerged a group of right-wing MPs, dubbed as the Otis group after a Canberra restaurant they dined together at, were pushing the party to embrace a softer stance on coal.\n \nMr Clennell said it will be difficult for the major parties to come to a bipartisan agreement on energy policy.\n \n“Fitzgibbon has been like a dog with a bone with this issue since the election when he nearly lost his Hunter seat and the party lost so many Queensland seats because of Adani,” Mr Clennell said.\n \n“There are a couple of bones Albanese has thrown to the Left here – opposing the taxpayer funded Emissions Reduction fund and calling for funding for the Australian Renewable Energy Agency.\n \n“The government for its part will argue today that if you argue as Albanese is that you are opposed to the taxpayer funded emission reduction fund, you must be after some other mechanism to meet targets such as a renewable energy target and a carbon price.”\n AlboMP aclennell Poor albo the right the greens the general public who do I keep happy 🤔🤔 AlboMP aclennell There goes his vote from me AlboMP aclennell Globalisation has literally crippled Australian farming & agricultural sectors and the economy.
