Madonna biopic scrapped after singer’s world tour announced

Sources told Variety that Madonna is still committed to making the film, despite Universal pulling out. “I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer – a human being, trying to make her way in this world,” the singer said in 2020. “There are so many untold and inspiring stories and who better to tell it than me.Madonna has two directing credits to her name: the provocative comedy-drama Filth and Wisdom, and W.E., a time-hopping romance about King Edward VIII.
