Lockdowns may have already saved 120,000 lives in just 11 countries | BevanShields

The researchers said the true number of cases in the examined countries was higher than the reported figures due to mild and asymptomatic infections, as well as limited testing regimes.

It said the figures "imply" that Europe is "not close to herd immunity" - the term for when such a large part of the population is immune from reinfection that it makes it much harder for a disease to spread. About 15 per cent of Spain's population is thought to be infected, but the figure could be as low as 3.7 per cent or as high as 41 per cent.

Norway and Germany have the lowest attack rates of the 11 countries, while 2.7 per cent of the UK's population could be infected - far lower than the 80 per cent worst-case scenario the government has factored into its plans. An Oxford University study released last week claimed half the UK population may have already been infected but the work has been largely dismissed by experts and Downing Street officials.

BevanShields Once you surrender your freedom you don’t get it back. Suddenly the New South Wales government controls every aspect of our life. It happened incrementally. And some of you wonder how Nazi Germany came into existence? This is exactly how it happened. Democracy is dead in NSW.

BevanShields Citizens rounded up and forcibly detained under guard with no right of appeal. People confined to their homes unless “allowed” out by the government. Citizens harassed by police for the crime of walking down the street or going about their business. The 3rd Reich? No Gladys’ NSW.

BevanShields Headline sounds promising, but Bevan has lost all credibility re the virus. Get someone else to write about it.

BevanShields 10,000 people per country may have been saved from the common cold or heavy flu. 120 million people now don’t have a job

Why Australia’s virus death rate is so lowAustralia’s Health Minister has revealed why our death rate is so low compared to other nations, with the country now at the “global forefront” of testing. Let’s not jump the gun too early. jo1foster I am sick to death of this “we’re the best”, “we’re top of the table” bullshit from our political leaders. Their reputation for dishonesty means these claims just fall on deaf ears. They don’t give me any reassurance & I just continue to expect the truth to be the opposite. Not testing widely, head in sand

Malaysia calls on women to stop nagging, 'wear makeup' in coronavirus lockdown adviceThe Malaysian Government apologises after issuing coronavirus lockdown advice for women, which included speaking in a cartoon cat voice and avoiding nagging. Oh dear ! When will the tyranny end lol. One must endeavour to ignore all voices instead of self . The rest is just white noise. One of the great benefits of all this tyranny is the extra time many have . Meditation will put you in touch with your ‘ real’ choices , not the outside illusion . Go for it . This is your chance .
